Editorial Policy
This page describes how SOL to NGN produces, maintains, and updates its content. These standards apply to all articles, rate data, comparison tables, and guides published on this site.
1. Rate Data Accuracy
All live SOL/NGN rate data is sourced from the CoinGecko public API and refreshed every 60 seconds. The rate displayed represents the market price of Solana in Nigerian naira, calculated as SOL/USD multiplied by the USD/NGN parallel market rate. This rate is indicative: the actual amount received in any transaction will differ due to platform spread, market movement during execution, and withdrawal fees.
We display a disclaimer on every page that rates may vary at the time of transaction. We do not guarantee that the displayed rate will be available on any specific platform.
2. Platform Rankings and Comparisons
Platform comparison tables on this site rank exchanges based on four objective criteria:
- Spread or fee percentage: The cost charged above the raw market rate
- NGN withdrawal method: Whether the platform supports direct naira bank transfer
- Settlement time: How quickly Nigerian naira reaches the trader's bank account
- Trust signal: Verifiable indicators such as Trustpilot rating, regulatory registration, or trading volume
We do not accept payment for placement in comparison tables or ranking positions. Affiliate relationships do not influence which platforms are included or how they are ranked. If a platform scores poorly on the criteria above, it is ranked accordingly regardless of any commercial relationship.
3. Source Attribution
All statistics, data points, and claims include a named source and publication date. We do not publish statistics without attribution. Acceptable sources include: official regulator publications (SEC Nigeria, CBN), major crypto data providers (CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap), peer-reviewed research, and official company announcements from named exchanges.
We do not use anonymous sources, unverified social media posts, or speculative analysis as the basis for factual claims.
4. Regulatory and Legal Content
Content covering Nigerian crypto regulation reflects the position as of the stated date. The regulatory environment for virtual assets in Nigeria is evolving rapidly. We include the following disclaimer on all regulatory content:

5. Financial Disclaimers
No content on this site constitutes financial or investment advice. We do not publish price predictions, guaranteed return claims, or trading recommendations. All articles include the standard disclaimer: cryptocurrency investments carry significant risks and past performance does not guarantee future results.
6. Content Updates and Corrections
Rate data updates automatically every 60 seconds. Platform fee data is reviewed quarterly or when a platform announces a fee change. Regulatory content is reviewed when SEC Nigeria or CBN publish new guidance. All articles display a "Last Updated" date.
If you identify a factual error in our content, use the Contact page to submit a correction. We review all requests and update content within 48 hours when errors are confirmed. Significant corrections are noted in the article with the correction date.
